Jeeva Beloam is a beach camp on the edge of southeastern Lombok’s remote Tanjung Ringgit peninsula. The resort comprises 11 stylish, Sasak-inspired A-frame guest bungalows set on a sand dune above a private cove with views across the Alas Strait to the neighboring island of Sumbawa. There is little to no phone service on the resort’s remote location, which makes it the perfect destination to disconnect for a few days and enjoy its quiet, beautiful surroundings.
Places of note: Main activities at Jeeva Beloam does not stray too far from relaxing by the beach, exploring the nearby forests, or enjoying fresh seafood and local produce at the resort’s tented restaurant. But for those looking to head out, the nearby Ekas Bay offers access to great waves for surfing and underwater beauty for divers, while within walking distance Teluk Temeak is a great spot to enjoy an array of water sports.
How to get there: Reach the resort within a 90-minute car ride from Lombok’s international airport or with a boat pick up from the dock at Te Elong Elong in East Lombok.
When to go: Take your trip during the dry season, which runs from May to October.
