We’re thousands of miles away from Germany, but that doesn’t mean Asia can’t join in on all the Oktoberfest fun. Wherever you are, better mark your calendars with these overflowing-with-beer events.

Marco Polo German Bierfest 2017

What started in 1992 has become the five-star hotel’s award-winning signature event. Happening for 23 consecutive nights from October 20 to November 11, the carnival-like event will have yummy bites, non-stop dancing, and of course, endless rounds of beer! Get tickets starting from US$20 then head over to the hotel’s sixth level to join the festivities.

Listen to great live music at the German restaurant’s outlet at this Harbourfront mall. Head over to the venue on September 28 to October 1, and watch the entertaining live band Anton & the Funny Guys. You can also indulge in their brunch fest on September 30 and October 1 where they will serve German favorites for only US$36 per person.

Clarke Quay Oktoberfest 2017

Enjoy mugs of beer while looking at the picturesque Singapore River during Clarke Quay’s annual celebration, organized by German restaurant Paulaner. Listen to the band Die Dorf Fest Kapelle perform the biggest Top 40 hits or join the numerous games and win attractive prizes. Take advantage of the many deals that establishments such as Get Juiced, Harry’s Clarke Quay, and the Pump Room are offering. Head over to the party hot spot’s fountain square area on October 6 and 7, from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Spuds & Aprons

Head over to Mount Faber to enjoy this restaurant’s all-you-can-eat buffet and free flowing beer on October 6, 7, 13, and 14. But the best part of the festivities is the chance to drink from a 2.5-meter-high beer tower, the tallest in Singapore. See this gargantuan thing by booking tickets starting from US$63 (if bought before September 30).

Oktoberfest Asia 2017

Perhaps nothing can beat this event, now on its fifth edition. From October 19 to 21, partygoers on Tan Quee Lan Street will get unlimited mugs of Paulaner Brauhaus and Weihenstaphaner while feasting on pork knuckles and German sausages. Tickets start from US$74.
