Fashion and fine food will intersect this December when Hong Kong’s SEVVA restaurant (Prince’s Building 25th Floor, 10 Chater Road; 852/2537-1388) hosts a Parisian-inspired afternoon tea from December 2 to 30. Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz has partnered with SEVVA’s founder Bonnae Gokson to create the “LANVIN Loves SEVVA” afternoon tea spread, featuring airy and delicate sponge cakes, finger rolls, and French haute couture-inspired snacks. SEVVA is located at the top of the Prince’s Building in Central with 360 degree views of some of Hong Kong’s most iconic financial district buildings. Elbaz’s fanciful sketches will appear on the afternoon tea set’s place mat and sandwich roll wraps. Diners can indulge in three tiers of 16 different treats from SEVVA’s kitchen including Lanvin designer labels in edible sugar art, Flower Power Espresso Cheesecake, Pineapple Crème Gâteaux, Foie Gras Mousse & Onion Marmalade on Waffle,  and Petite Finger Rolls of French Ham & Brie Cheese among others. Guests have a choice of coffee or tea, as well as a  special designer memento to cherish the experience of the fashionable feast long after leaving SEVVA’s gilded interiors. Tea for two begins from US$88 with choice of Veuve Clicquot Rosé NV champagne priced at US$32 served weekdays from 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
