This is Hong Kong’s Newest Posh Party Venue

Located right in the heart of the city’s financial and shopping districts, the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong stands as the true embodiment of style. The 109-room, 12-year-old property is known as the home of one of the town’s most famous restaurants, the two-Michelin starred restaurant Amber.

The property has just upped its game with the introduction of what it describes as the perfect embodiment of “high-octane glamour”—the 2,250-square-meter Entertainment Suite. Occupying a point of pride in this space is its four-meter-long “Cabinet of Delights,” where rare vintages chosen by Amber’s resident sommelier are displayed for guests to choose from. Connoisseurs will also be happy to know that wines are available on tap. It also serves as a repository of snacks, signature teas and coffees, Cuban cigars, a popcorn machine, and savories made by none other than Amber’s chef.

While the space is oozing with a masculine vibe that it immediately brings to mind images of bachelor parties, it is also ideal for hosting ladies’ lunches and baby showers. Companies can also consider it as a venue for small events, such as product launches, thanks to its B&O BeoLab sound system and a massive TV screen with a state-of-the-art laser projector. Party planning is painless because the suite comes with its own kitchen and a 10-seater dining room. A library full of PlayStation games, an authentic reconditioned 1930s jukebox, and a DJ booth make the suite a little more enticing.

A look into the master bedroom

Never to be forgotten is its master bedroom, which showcases bespoke handmade furnishings and tufted rugs. With walls padded with leather, the room has a sitting area and a separate dressing area. Its bathroom displays an oval-shaped bathtub cut from a single piece of marble while its multi-jet shower system can be fit with aromatherapy capsules. And here’s a bonus: the master room connects with another sleeping quarter, which displays the same stylish aesthetic.
