Bintan Bliss

The last year has seen plenty of exciting developments on the Indonesian resort island of Bintan. Nestled on the eastern quarter of Lagoi Bay, the all-villa Holiday Villa Pantai Indah is the newest member of the Bintan Resorts family, with 99 luxury pool villas that blend contemporary and traditional Balinese touches. Another newcomer is Lagoi Bay Villas, a boutique property strategically located between Plaza Lagoi and picturesque Lagoi Lake that offers spacious one-and two-bedroom guest villas with private pools, making it ideal for a private getaway. Over in the waterfront resort city of Treasure Bay Bintan, meanwhile, The Canopi continues to be a popular glamping destination since its debut in 2015. Set beside Crystal Lagoon—Southeast Asia’s largest manmade seawater lagoon—the resort has recently expanded the number of its tents to 100 in order to accommodate more guests.
