With a strategic location in Bali’s Nusa Dua and innovative conference rooms and event spaces, the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort opened in time this year to serve as host venue for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation in October. Now, the resort will announce its official launch on December 20, welcoming guests to its 415 rooms that offer stunning beachfront views. Design firm Wilson Associates artfully blends elegant French style and traditional Balinese touches throughout the hotel. Hotel facilities include a grand ballroom, one retreat grand room, four meeting rooms, and one boardroom—all well-appointed with names inspired by traditional Balinese dances and musical instruments. The Grand Retreat Gamelan Room can hold up to 420 persons with 573 square meters of space and a soaring ceiling. Three restaurants can be found on the property including two bars and a lounge and a So FIT fitness center, spa, and kid’s club.

Lot N5, Region Tourism Nusa Dua, Bali; 0361/849-2888; Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort; doubles start from US$138
