Bob’s Bar at Capella Singapore has undergone an Cuban-inspired makeover—from mixology to uniforms to music. Regional jazz artist Jeremy Monteiro and his Latin Jazz Trio will play Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays bringing the sounds of Havana to the bar. Patrons can sip on rum-based cocktails including Bob’s Fresh Press Mojito made with Plantation Three-Star Rum and freshly-pressed sugar cane juice made in-house with a traditional press. The Six Star Swizzle features Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum and hand-pressed fruits including pineapple, mango, star fruit, and lime. The menu still preserves Bob’s Bar favorites with the addition of dishes like the pollo empanizado, crispy battered chicken wings glazed in Caribbean style barbecue sauce, and the croquetas de bacalao y fever salsa, cod fish in a spicy homemade glaze. Guests visiting by car will enjoy a special $2 entrance fee to Sentosa from Monday to Friday.
