Singapore is gearing up for a week of avant-garde dining when the World Gourmet Summit occupies the City-state’s finest restaurants from March 26 to April 5. The 11-day dining event will host classically trained Michelin-starred chefs for exclusive dinners, hands-on culinary workshops, and educational sessions. Visiting chefs include Michelin three-star rated Thomas Bühner of Germany, two-star Sergi Arola of the W Paris, and Ian Curley of The Point in Melbourne. Hosting venues range from luxury hotels including the Mandarin Oriental and The Fullerton Bay Hotel, to boutique restaurants from The White Rabbit to Tippling Club. To accompany the theme of classical dining, Chateau Mouton Rothschild wine, of the Premier Grand Cru Classé list, will accompany select menus. Reservations are now bookable through the World Gourmet Summit’s website—highlights promise to be a food photography workshop hosted by Curley at The Prime Society and a gastronomic demonstration hosted by Spanish chef Lorenzo Cogo and Ryan Clift of Tippling Club.
