Located in Abu Dhabi’s iconic Capital Gate building — which holds the Guinness World Record for the furthest leaning manmade tower — Hyatt Capital Gate hotel is set to celebrate its opening on December 21. The hotel’s 167 rooms and 22 suites occupy the 18th to 33th floors of the building and boast oversized floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the city. The hotel, which is directly linked to Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, is Hyatt’s second property in Abu Dhabi.

Hyatt Capital Gate was originally scheduled to open in 2009, but its launch had to be delayed due to challenges associated with the building’s unusual design (each of the hotel’s rooms is unique in size and shape).

Rates start from US$402 per night.
