Few sports have the grace and glamor of equestrianism, and rarely is it performed with quite as much pomp and circumstance as in the Longines Masters competition. This February, for the third consecutive year, the Longines Hong Kong Masters is returning to AsiaWorld-Expo as the largest five-star indoor show jumping event in Asia, one of the year’s not-to-be-missed sporting events. Dovetailing on Masters Grand Slam competitions in Paris and Los Angeles, the three-day event (Feb. 13–15) will not only bring the world’s top 30 riders and horses to compete for a prize of US$1 million in front of crowds of thousands, but also Michelin-starred chefs, contemporary art, fashion shows, champagne tastings, and high-end shopping outlets together for a comprehensive luxury lifestyle event. What Lexington is to America and Rotterdam is to Europe, Hong Kong is on its way to being for Asia. “We can’t wait to return to Hong Kong in 2015 for the third consecutive year, with Longines as our Title Partner,” said Christophe Ameeuw, founder and organizer of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor. “We believe we are one step closer in our journey to making Hong Kong the equestrian capital of Asia.”
