Board Your KLM Flight Using Facebook Messenger

From social media to dedicated smartphone apps, airlines have continued to expand their presence on the digital realm to offer customers better access to their services and thus improve their travel experience. In the latest expansion of its online features, KLM has partnered with Facebook Messenger to allow fliers to access all of their important flight information and updates through the chat app. Everything from booking confirmation, flight status and schedule changes will be at one’s fingertips, including digital boarding passes, which passengers can use to board their flight without having to print out a copy. KLM is also taking advantage of the chat format to provide fliers a more casual approach to their customer service line, where requests and inquiries can be easily sent over by text. To use this feature, simply confirm that you’re willing to receive updates on Messenger when booking your tickets online.
