Air New Zealand will launch a non-stop service between Auckland and Denpasar Airport in Bali on June 20. The twice-weekly service on the airline’s Boeing 767-300 (pictured above) will operate seasonally over the peak demand period from June to October. Arrival and departure times will be announced closer to the beginning of ticket sales on February 23.
Air New Zealand already services other island destinations in Asia-Pacific, including Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands, and Vanuatu.
Quarantine-free services are poised to resume on almost 20 of the airline’s international routes.
Services are running on a thrice-weekly basis, though the frequency may soon be bumped up to daily.
The Tasmanian state capital will soon become the airline’s 10th Australian destination.
