British Airways has begun flying its Airbus A380s from London Heathrow to Singapore thrice weekly. Following those to Los Angeles, Washington DC, Hong Kong, and Johannesburg, it’s the flag carrier’s fifth route to be serviced by the superjumbo, and it’s off to a glamorous start. For its launch, the carrier flew Gwyneth Paltrow to Singapore, where she inaugurated the service by posing in a business class seat seemingly floating in the rooftop infinity pool of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. It was the actress’ first trip to Singapore, and she hailed the location of her photo shoot as “stunning,” and admittedly took to Singapore’s signature chili crab dish as well.

The service currently operates the London-bound BA11 portion of the route on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and the Singapore-bound BA12 flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. British Airways also flies from London to Singapore four times weekly with its Boeing 747-400 aircraft and from London to Sydney via Singapore daily with its Boeing 777-300ER.
