Two years ago Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts launched one-of-a-kind itineraries featuring the group’s properties around the world, with transport aboard a luxe private jet. Now, the group has unveiled its own retrofitted Boeing 757 to serve these trips, allowing guests to circumnavigate the globe aboard a bespoke Four Seasons-branded jet. The jet can seat 52 guests and a team of in-flight staff, including on-board concierge that can communicate requests with ground staff while in the air. The first excursion will take off February 2015—named the Around the World trip, patrons will depart from Los Angeles on a 24-day journey visiting Four Seasons’ properties in Hawaii, Bora Bora, Sydney, Bali, northern Thailand, Mumbai, and Istanbul. The Backstage with the Arts trip will launch in April 2015 taking patrons to Europe’s most celebrated art capitals, while the second imagining of the Around the World trip will begin August 2015 from Seattle with stops in Tokyo, Tanzania, and Istanbul. The trips, which include all transportation, meals, accommodations, and local excursions, command a price tag of US$119,000 per person based on double accommodation. And for those who prefer the plane to themselves, the Four Seasons Jet is also available for private charter, including the accompanying staff and crew.
