As the largest Asian airline servicing the U.S., Korean Air recently opened a new lounge in the Los Angeles International Airport, to which it operates flights on its double-decker Airbus A380s twice daily. Located on the fifth floor of the Tom Bradley International Terminal, the lounge is available to Prestige- and first-class passengers flying Korean Air and other SkyTeam members. Designed by Gensler—the design firm behind Facebook’s Silicon Valley headquarters—the 1,320-square-meter facility is filled with private lounge rooms, showers, well-stocked kitchen and bar areas, and balconies with plush chairs overlooking the rest of the terminal.
