From June 1 Lufthansa will offer promotional flights to Europe from Jakarta starting from US$1,005 return, all-inclusive, by way of Kuala Lumpur. Fly with the airline to its Frankfurt hub and choose from more than 170 destinations in Europe and beyond. Lufthansa will offer a promotional rate of US$167 from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur and US$838 for Kuala Lumpur to Frankfurt return. An Airbus A340-300 will fly five times per week from Jakarta to Frankfurt via Kuala Lumpur in a two-class configuration including new flat-bed business class seats. Patrons flying from Jakarta will also earn the same Miles and More or Star Alliance mileage on the short-haul trip to Kuala Lumpur as the long-haul to Frankfurt. For Kuala Lumpur- and Penang-based passengers the airline is also offering a similar promotion from US$1,010 return to Europe. For Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Langkawi, and others, discounted flights start from US$1,315 return.
