Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey, plans to increase its service to the Malaysian capital with daily service effective from April. The increase will begin in two waves: from March 31 to April 27, Tuesday through Sunday, flight TK 060 will fly from Istanbul at 1:15 a.m. and arrive at 4:50 p.m. in Kuala Lumpur, TK 061 will depart at 11:15 p.m. and arrive at 5:35 a.m. the next day. From April 28 to October 24 the flight will depart daily from Istanbul 1:15 a.m. and arrive at 4:50 p.m., the return flight will depart at 11:15 p.m. and arrive at 5:35 a.m. the next day. An Airbus A330-300 will service the route. Last year, Turkish Airlines flew 10,000 passengers from Turkey to Malaysia and anticipates that the number will reach 20,000 passengers this year. The airline, with its Istanbul hub, currently flies to 245 destinations in 105 countries around the world.
