Thanks to Qantas, the world’s longest flight—from Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth—just got more comfortable. As of September 29, the carrier now operates the world’s largest aircraft, the double-decker A380, between the two cities in a decision that CEO Alan Joyce says “is a great example of the right aircraft on the right route.” As Dallas/Fort Worth is the hub for Qantas code-share partner American Airlines, onward-bound passengers will be able to connect with more than 30 North American destinations.
