Borneo Jazz 2012 will be held on May 11 and 12 in the city of Miri in northern Sarawak, a Malaysian state on the island of Borneo. For the first time in the festival’s seven-year history, the fest will feature a craft bazaar where tribal artisans will demonstrate and sell their products. Musical artists this year include the French singer and songwriter Tangora, Thai saxophonist Mr. Saxman, and the Dutch band New Cool Collective.
