Starting March 2015, ANA will introduce a series of enhancements, including new cabin classes and improved in-flight services on flights to and from Singapore, Bangkok, and Jakarta.

The first effort to take foot, starting March 1, are improvements to the carrier’s business class, which entails complimentary pajamas, Sony noise-canceling headphones, and a wider range of in-flight meals served course-by-course. Flights from Japan will include in-flight meals produced by The Connoisseurs, ANA’s team of master chefs and beverage specialists, and flights departing from Singapore and Bangkok will include meals created in collaboration with Regent Singapore and Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

Following suit starting March 29, aircrafts servicing the Tokyo Narita−Singapore route for flights NH801 and NH802 will include first-class cabins. In this cabin, seats recline to full-flat position and come with organic cotton and cashmere blankets, knitted nightwear, and personal amenities. Other features include a large LCD monitor, a dining table, and storage space for jackets and shoes in the cabin’s walls and under the ottoman. Passengers departing Tokyo will enjoy Japanese cuisine by two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Nishikawa.

The most notable change is ANA’s introduction of its Premium Economy Class—for the first time within Asia—on flights to Singapore, Bangkok, and Jakarta. Already a popular choice on ANA flights to Europe and North America, premium-economy seats feature 97-centimeter pitches and a 49-centimeter width. Seats are equipped with leg rests, universal PC power ports, LCD monitors, USB ports, and personal lights. Premium-economy passengers can also enjoy business-class wine and dessert in addition to the economy-class menu. This new cabin will first be introduced on two Tokyo Narita−Singapore services, one starting March 29 and the other starting June 11, before launching on Tokyo Narita−Bangkok and Tokyo Haneda−Jakarta services beginning August 1.
