If you’re looking for an in-the-know companion for your next set of international travels consider the Louis Vuitton City Guides. The guides, now in their 15th edition, draw on the fashion house’s philosophy of travel: “it requires an artist’s eye to dream up possibilities, gain perspective and savor experiences.” The guides do just that, leading readers on expertly curated neighborhood tours, showing the best of the city in 24 hours, and sharing celebrity and insider advice on how to best enjoy the destination like a local. This edition features 15 major cities including Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Cape Town, and New York compiled by 50 contributors around the world. French photographer Tendance Floue’s images adorn the guides with an unpublished series of 300 images. The books are on sale for US$40 per book, or in a lacquered-wood case set of 15 for US$600.
