Qatar Airways has become to the newest member of the oneworld alliance and to celebrate it is offering members of its Privilege Club loyalty program double Qmile award miles when they fly on Qatar or any other oneworld member from November 15 to January 31.

By joining oneworld, Qatar Privalage Club Platinum and Gold members can now enjoy the full range of the alliance’s services and benefits when flying with other oneworld members including frequent-flyer benefits, access to more than 550 lounges worldwide—five times more than what they had previously, access to first-class lounges, additional baggage allowances, and being fast-tracked through airport security, when available.

Qatar is the first Gulf carrier to join oneworld and brings 20 new destinations to the alliance’s global map.It only took a year for Qatar to join oneworld after being invited—one of the fastest in the alliance’s history. The airline currently serves 130 destinations in 70 countries.
