In Singapore the Grand Theater of Marina Bay Sands will host the effects-heavy Broadway musical Wicked starting December 6. Telling the untold story of the witches of Oz, the show features elaborate sets, 34 cast members, 54 scenes, and 350 costumes. Since launching in 2003 it’s bagged 35 awards and regularly brings in more than US$1.6 million per week, having broken numerous records along the way.
