Opened last month, the Sunrise Hoi An Beach Resort sits along central Vietnam’s Cua Dai Beach, about four kilometers from the UNESCO-listed city of Hoi An Ancient Town and a half hour from Danang’s international airport. The resort features three wings with 194 rooms, 16 suites, and a dozen one- and two-bedroom beachfront villas. Most of the villas feature private swimming pools, while the rooms have balconies and the suites come with private terraces.
The resort features two dining options. Sao Bien serves fresh seafood inspired by local flavors in an open kitchen setting, while the 24-hour Sensations serves Asian and international fare. In the lobby, Givral serves cakes and pastries, as well as creamy milkshakes and frappes.
The resort also features a fitness center, a kids club, a 34-meter lap pool, and a spa with five treatment rooms. Among the water sports available are bodyboarding, wakeboarding, and kayaking.
The published rates are listed as US$250 for a Grand Deluxe Room, $500 for a Sunrise Suite, and $2,000 for a Grand Pool Villa.
Also in the area are Fusion Maia Da Nang, a Luxe List winner that opened last year, and the upcoming InterContinental Danang Resort.
