The Big Day Out is once again set to shake up Australia and New Zealand with its mix of contemporary rock, electronic, and mainstream acts. Starting January 20 and running until February 5, this year’s line-up features hip-hop superstar Kanye West and Seattle rockers Soundgarden, as well as a host of other international acts including My Chemical Romance, Kasabian, and Foster the People. Representing the local music scene will be Unknown Mortal Orchestra, David Dallas, and Gin Wigmore, among others.

Beginning in 1992 as a Sydney-only event, today the Big Day Out is one of the biggest and longest-running rock festivals in the world. The annual festival takes in six cities, including Sydney, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and Auckland. Read more about the Big Day Out here.
